Ha ha! ...Next question.
Max Brooks was here for his event yesterday, and it was amazing. We didn't really even need to advertise, because once word got out, it just spread and spread. His cult following on-campus basically ensured a near-full room.
Of course, we still had to promote the event! Three years ago, Mitch and I broke ground at RPI by being the first students to run the Union Speaker's Forum in at least a decade. Juliene joined shortly after, and for the past three years, its been us three running it all, with our adviser Cameron. This being our last event, we had to do something awesome.
...And so we did.
On Tuesday of this week, our club held an anti-zombie protest just past the footbridge on campus, between noon and 3pm. There were five of us - the three original members, and our two new members who will be taking over next year (since us three are all graduating now).
I got to make all of the picket signs and the super-awesome sandwich board.
[From left to right in all three of 'em, for those who may not know all of us: Juliene, myself, Alex (new member #1), and Mitch. Tex (new member #2) was just off-camera.]
